This is a single movement setting of the Sanctus and Benedictus texts and features a short, soprano solo set high in the tessitura. The opening is harmonically reminiscent of impressionistic style, but as the movement progresses, elements of early music are fused into a contemporary harmonic palette to create a setting that is musically colourful and rich.
