Composed during my time in France in 2017, this unison song is inspired by the nearby forest where we would regularly walk. The forest was idyllic and quiet, with a path that led through a little open woodland, across an old wooden bridge that arched a babbling brook: a place where elves and fairies can easily be imagined. Supported with a piano accompaniment, the song is modal and possesses a lyrical and legato melody with a range of an octave (D – D’). It is available in both French and English.
