I was inspired to compose a piece of music after the birth of my first and only child, and this is the result. ‘Lullaby’ is harmonically rich - some might say ‘shmultzy’ - and lyrically driven, with the major 7th interval prominent. ‘Lullaby’ can also be sung as a Christmas carol and is a perfect piece for a formal Carol Service.
