This reflective final movement was performed by the Sydney Conservatorium Chamber Choir in May 2019 and a recording of this performance is available on the listening page. The movement begins with a solo tenor chant and the middle section’s sustained dissonances create musical tension and contribute towards an intense sacred aesthetic.
